The C1052 is a lengthy route on the south side of the River Nairn, running roughly parallel to the B851 / B9006 to the north. It starts on the B9154 (former A9) at Craggie, Daviot, and runs north east to the B9090 at Budgate just west of Cawdor.
For some reason, this route seems to have recently been split into two and the southern end is now listed as part of the C1056, the two routes now meeting end on at a T junction with a U road above the Clava Railway Viaduct,
