This article is about the Class III road numbered C1061 maintained by Highland Council.
For other roads numbered C1061, see C1061.
For other roads numbered C1061, see C1061.
The C1061 starts on the A99 in John o Groats a little to the south of the A836 junction, and heads east towards Duncansby Head, the most north easterly point of the British mainland. However, rather than running out to the car park and lighthouse, it TOTSOs left at a T junction and runs north to the next junction. This is probably because it was numbered before the tourist impact on the road to Duncansby Head took off.
