The C1067 is a lengthy dead end along the long peninsula between Loch Broom and Little Loch Broom. It starts at Dundonnell on the A831, near the head of the latter loch, and runs north west, climbing steeply up to a T junction. To the right, a track drops down to the lonely Inn at Allt na h'Airbhe, opposite Ullapool, whilst the C1067 turns left and drops back towards the shore and Badrallach. From the end of the road, a path continues out to Scoraig, a varied community who are self reliant in many aspects of their lives, and the lack of road access gives an 'island feel' to the place.
