The C1072 Starts on the A82, Loch Ness side, and climbs steeply up the hill to Abriachan. The Junction is a sharp fork, which has seen a turning bay installed on the lochside of the road to facilitate traffic making the 'U turn'. From Abriachan, the route winds across the hills, dropping down through Foxhole to meet the A833 near Kiltarlity.
