The C10E starts and finishes on the A96, and for the most part runs roughly parallel to the main road, but about half a mile to the south. It starts just inside Moray at Feddan, heads south and then turns east to cross the Muckle Burn at Earls Mill. Slowly turning north east it eventually converges with the A96 once more at Dalvey. The route therefore effectively bypasses Brodie on the A96, although it could hardly be considered a viable alternative route!
