The C1104 serves the scattered settlement on the hill above Beauly and Kilmorack. It starts on the A862 in Beauly town centre as Croyard Road and crosses the railway before turning south west and climbing steadily up the hill. There are various meandering bends before the route turns south east and drops sharply down to the A831 at Kilmorack. Before this final descent, there appears to be a short spur continuing south west towards Farley. Other minor roads climb further up the hill to reach the scattered houses above.
