This article is about the Class III road numbered C1186 maintained by Highland Council.
For other roads numbered C1186, see C1186
The C1186 is hardly worthy of being a C road, as it runs along the north coast of Morvern, never straying far from Loch Sunart. It starts on the A884 at the bottom of Liddesdale Hill, the junction having been moved a little over the years to ease the gradient, and heads west through Liddesdale (a house, barn and ruin). About a mile and a half later, it reaches a turning place just before the gates into the Laudale Estate, and this is the end of the public road, although it appears that the C road previously extended further, perhaps as far as Laudale House itself.
