The C1194 is the most westerly C road on the British Mainland, and runs from the B8007 at Kilchoan Fire Station north west to the spectacular white beaches at Sanna. The road ends at a small car park in the dunes, from where paths lead across to the scattered cottages of the village, along the beach and up onto the low cliffs along the coast. It is easy to walk along the beach to Portuairk, and from there on to Ardnamurchan Point, the most westerly part of the mainland, surmounted by its well known lighthouse.
