The C1245 is the former A864 near Dunvegan on Skye. It runs north-south to the east of the village, providing a bypass between the A850 and A863. However, as there can hardly be much through traffic wishing to bypass Dunvegan - most traffic is heading there - it seems it was no longer worth keeping it as an A road, and so it became unclassified.
At the southern end, the A863 has been slightly realigned to remove a right angled bend, and so the C1245 has a split end, running along the two arms of the former A863 to meet it on its new curved line.
