The C125B starts on the B9027 at the southern edge of New Blyth and heads south east, climbing steeply at first before the hill levels off. There is a much more gentle climb up to the summit at Corsegight. Steadily turning south, the road drops gently down to meet the B9170 at Auchreddie to the west of New Deer.
