This article is about the Class III road numbered C126 maintained by North Ayrshire Council.
For other roads numbered C126, see C126.
For other roads numbered C126, see C126.
The C126 is a short road that starts on the B778 near Fergus Hill, and drops down through a crossroads to the Lugton Water. The river is crossed by Montgreenan Bridge, the centre of which is the council boundary. The road then briefly runs through East Ayrshire, before returning to North Ayrshire. Both of these pieces of road are isolated from the rest of their councils network, and it is not clear if the C126 number applies to the section in North Ayrshire. The road then returns to East Ayrshire and quickly meets the A736.
