The C127 is a short link in Peebles town centre, largely following the former route of the A703. It starts on the A72, Eastgate, in the town centre and heads north along Northgate, passing behind the Sainsburys store. Although not specified in the council list, it then appears to turn right on to Dean Park to reach the A703, as the north end of Northgate itself is closed up. The Northgate section of the route is one way northbound.
