The C12 starts at the crossroads with the B764 and B767 in the centre of Eaglesham and heads south east along Strathaven Road. After leaving the village behind, it forks left onto Millhall Road which leads to the council boundary at the White Cart Water near Millhouse. The road continues towards East Kilbride.
