The C133 follows one of the former lines of the A6089 through Kelso. Starting at a roundabout on the A6089 at Angraflat to the north of the town, the route follows Edinburgh Road in to the town centre and then forks left onto Bowmont Street. At the end, the route curves round to the left into East Bowmont Street, which leads to the B6461, Horsemarket, at the east end of the main shopping area.
