The C14K starts on the A92 in Inverbervie and follows Aberdour Place out of town. It forks left at Anniston and then wiggles around to meet the C7K. After a short multiplex to the north, the C14K resumes its journey south west to the B9120 at Balhagarty. Originally the two sections either side of the C7K carried different numbers, one part being the C15K. However, it is not at all clear which was which.
