The C158 is a route which doesn't appear to meet another C or classified road at all. This is probably because it is the leftover part of what was once a longer route, before development overtook the area. Today, the route is listed by the council as only comprising Hallside Road in the Hallside area of Cambuslang. This connects Hallside Boulevard with Westburn Road. However, in the past, the road extended further west, including the now disconnected Overton Road to reach the C160, Mill Road.
