This article is about the Class III road numbered C15 maintained by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
For other roads numbered C15, see C15.
For other roads numbered C15, see C15.
The C15 climbs the sometimes steep Lansdown Hill to the north of the city centre. The council record that it starts as Broad Street, which is widely shown on maps as being part of the A3039 or A4. After crossing the A4, George Street, it continues north, climbing Lansdown Road. At the C16, Julian Road junction, Guinea Lane to the east forms a spur of the C15, not the C16. The mainline continues north, winding up past some of Bath's more impressive addresses, before finally reaching the shallow slopes of the hilltop. The route comes to an end at the city boundary, but the road continues as the C308 past the park and ride, racecourse and golf course.
