The C16 forms a link between the villages of Glenavy and Stoneyford in south County Antrim. It commences on the A30 just outside Glenavy and makes its way east south eastwards through the countryside, passing through a crossroads with the C13 as it does so. Soon enough Stoneyford is reached and the C16 comes to an end on the C17, at what is quite literally a five-way junction on the edge of this small village.
