This article is about the Class III road numbered C173 maintained by DfI Roads.
For other roads numbered C173, see C173
The C173 commences on the B10 just west of Scarva and quickly crosses the A27 as it heads in a south westward direction. Meandering its way through the countryside, the road turns to the west and crosses the route of the C175. The road turns off to the south but almost immediately resumes its general westward direction leading to a crossroads where the lengthy C174 begins its journey south. Heading north from the crossroads the road comes to a T junction and continues by turning left and crosses the Cusher River, ending on the B2 opposite the B131.
