This article is about the Class III road numbered C174 maintained by DfI Roads.
For other roads numbered C174, see C174
The C174 is a long route in County Armagh. It starts on the A25 and heads north, soon meeting a spur leading into Bessbrook which turns right at a TOTSO on the end of the B112 and returns to the A25. The mainline of the route continues north, crossing the B133 before approaching the A28. The road follows part of a road running parallel with the A28 before halting at a junction on the A28, which suggests that the road follows part of what used to be part of the A28 between Newry and Armagh prior to realignment. The road resumes its northward journey on the other side of the A28 and on its way through the countryside to the B114 it meets the C215 at a crossroads and the C175 at a T junction. Slightly to the west along the B114, the last leg of the road commences as it heads north to a crossroads where it meets a TOTSO on the C173.
