The C184 is a medium length C road within both counties Armagh and Tyrone. In County Armagh it starts on the B115 at Garvaghy and heads in a northerly direction, passing the end of a spur of the C187 along the way. At a T junction the road turns to the right (north) where the road to the south is the C185. The C185 turns off to the east not too far along the road from here. Further north, the road meets the C186 just before crossing Maydown Bridge over the Blackwater, which also marks the county boundary. Now in County Tyrone, the road ends on the B128 in Benburb.
