This article is about the Class III road numbered C1E maintained by Moray Council. For other roads numbered C1, see C1.
The C1E starts on the A941 at Fogwatt south of Elgin and heads north east through Clackmarras to Lhanbryde. Here, it meets the A96 bypass. The next section of the C1E appears to be the dead end Station Road in the village, the route having been cut by the bypass. After a short dogleg along the former A96 route, it then continues north east to Garmouth near the mouth of the River Spey. It is not clear if all of the former A96 route through Lhanbryde is part of the C1E or just one end, or none of it.
