This article is about the Class III road numbered C1 maintained by Angus Council.
For other roads numbered C1, see C1.
For other roads numbered C1, see C1.
The C1 starts at a roundabout on the A930 towards the west end of Carnoustie and heads north along a relatively new section of road, picking up an older alignment at a T junction. As the road straightens out, it crosses under the A92, with full access sliproads provided either side of the bridge. At the end of the straight, the road curves round to the west and wiggles into Craigton, where it crosses the B961. Just before crossing, a short spur of this road (the C1-1) branches off to allow C1 traffic to more easily access the northward side of the B961. The main road then continues past some reservoirs, through Monikie and on to meet the B978 at Husbandtown.
