The C2-54 follows Douglas Street in the north of Largs. It runs east from the A78 to meet the C41 Brisbane Road. It provides access from the A78 to the north largs housing estates, Brisbane Glen and the Inverclyde National Sports centre. When used in conjunction with the C41 and a few other backstreets, the road also enables locals to bypass the busy seafront and Main Street during the tourist season.
