The C202 starts on the A28 at Killeen and crosses the Killeen Water, heading south west until it meets the B31. The road continues to the west from a junction just north of here and shortly afterwards there is a T junction from the which the road continues both straight on (west) and left (south). The spur to the west crosses the C201 to meet the A29. Meanwhile, the rest of the road continues south, eventually crossing the Ballymacone River just north of its terminus on the B3 near Tassagh.
