The C207 starts on the A51 west of Hamiltonsbawn and heads south, soon crossing the route of the C208. The road crosses the A28 at a scattered crossroads and a spur heads south to the B3 near Markethill. The main line of the road however continues south west, crossing the C206 before turning to the west. North of Seagahan Reservoir, the road turns sharply to the south to run alongside the dam of the reservoir reaching the C204. The last part of the road consists of a short link to the west between the C204 and the B31.
