This article is about the Class III road numbered C20 maintained by Scottish Borders Council.
For other roads numbered C20, see C20.
For other roads numbered C20, see C20.
The C20 starts on the C19 at Ashkirk, just yards from the [{A7]], and heads south west, climbing up alongside the Ale Water at first before crossing at Burnfoot and taking a steeper route up the side of the valley. It winds between hilltops before dropping down to meet the B711 at Howcleuchshiel a little to the west of Roberton.
