This article is about the Class III road numbered C224 maintained by DfI Roads.
For other roads numbered C224, see C224.
For other roads numbered C224, see C224.
The C224 starts on the A29 near Camly Lough and heads east across the Dorsy River initially, before turning sharply south east towards Silverbridge. Until the final approach to the village, the road is rather straight with only very slight bends. Along this section of the road are two spurs which link back to the A29. At Silverbridge, the road meets the B30 and continues south east running alongside Cully Water. As the road nears the border, it comes to a T junction with continues both north east and south west. The C224 south west reaches the border nearby, although the actual road continues into County Louth to meet the R177. Going north east the road reaches Forkhill and ends when it meets the C221.
