This article is about the Class III road numbered C22 maintained by Angus Council. For other roads numbered C22, see C22.
The C22 is one of the long, meandering C roads in Angus, which appear to have been pieced together from lots of bits of road that really don't form a sensible through route. It starts on the A928 near Padanaram and heads west, before turning left at Redwell to reach the A926 at a crossroads. Continuing west, the route runs through Strathmore, slowly converging with the Dean Water, before crossing the stream at Cardean.
The C22 approaching Bellwood Cottage, with the C24 junction on the right.
