This article is about the Class III road numbered C233 maintained by Cambridgeshire Council.
For other roads numbered C233, see C233.
For other roads numbered C233, see C233.
The C233 maintained by Cambridgeshire Council is a locally important distributor around the east side of Cambridge. It is a mix of wide rural S2 to the north, suburban post-war housing to the south, and an old village high street (that of Cherry Hinton) in between.
At the western end it terminates on the roundabout with Fendon Road and the Cambridge Ring Road. The roundabout is notable as being the first 'Dutch' cycle priority roundabout in Great Britain.
It is described in the freedom of information request[1] as being:
C233 CHERRY HINTON ROAD (C233) TEVERSHAM
C233 AIRPORT WAY TEVERSHAM
C233 AIRPORT WAY FEN DITTON
C233 TEVERSHAM DRIFT (C233) CAMBRIDGE
C233 HIGH STREET (C233) CAMBRIDGE
C233 QUEEN EDITHS WAY CAMBRIDGE
