This article is about the Class III road numbered C maintained by Argyll and Bute Council.
For other roads numbered C23, see C23.
For other roads numbered C23, see C23.
The C23 is a short link connecting the A83 and B8024 at the head of West Loch Tarbert, to the west of Tarbert. In c2012, the road was substantially rebuilt (albeit still as a single track road) to better accommodate lorries, and is now signed as an alternative route for timber lorries in particular to avoid the busy streets of Tarbert, which is a popular tourist centre in the summer months.
