This article is about the Class III road numbered C26E maintained by Moray Council.

For other roads numbered C26, see C26.
The C26E curves around the western and northern sides of Elgin, staying about 1 mile out from the urban area. It starts on the C3E, near Miltonduff and runs north west then north to meet the A96. The route used to fork prior to the main road, but the eastern arm has been closed up to reduce the number of junctions in a short space, so the C26E now has a short multiplex east with the A96, before resuming. It now heads north east, curving around Quarrel Wood to the B9012. The final section continues east through more woodland to end on the C24E near Lochside.
