This article is about the Class III road numbered C270 maintained by DfI Roads.

For other roads numbered C270, see C270.
The C270 starts on the A22 at the north end of the Comber bypass and initially links to a mini roundabout in the west of the town. From here the road turns west and heads out of the town. The road crosses the Ballystockart River on its way across the fields before coming to a T junction. The road TOTSOs left from here which soon leads west across the Gransha River to the A23 at a scattered crossroads next to Maryland Industrial Estate. West of the crossroads, the road continues on a generally westward line until it meets the A24 at a signal controlled junction opposite the extensive Knockbracken Healthcare Park.
