This article is about the Class III road numbered C2S maintained by Aberdeenshire Council.
For other roads numbered C2, see C2.
For other roads numbered C2, see C2.
The C2S starts on the B9025 just to the west of the small town of Turriff and heads north, following the east bank of the River Deveron to Ashogle. Here it crosses the old county boundary into Banffshire, and follows the former line of the C15L north, still following the river, until it recrosses the boundary. Although it is not entirely clear, the last section which finally turns away from the river and climbs to meet the A947 near Keilhill, is presumed to be the former C6S. The alternative is that this was the original line of the C2S, and the Turriff end was the C6S.
