The C308 is a continuation of the C15 along Landsdown Road, heading north out of Bath. It starts at the city boundary and runs north west at first to the racecourse, before turning to the north past Upper Langridge to reach the council boundary near the little known monument to Sir Bevil Grenville.
Although the road beyond the border in South Gloucestershire is the C309, the C308 number reappears slightly after the monument.
