The C31 In Brighton and Hove starts at the Southern Cross Crossroads, taking over the B2193 as the A270 heads across. From here the road uses old roads to get to Portslade Village before taking a newer road called Mile Oak Road which was built with the rest of the neighbourhood in the 1950s.
