The C328 starts on the A1 north east of Banbridge and heads east, soon crossing the C349. After a brief multiplex with the B25, the road continues east and crosses the C310 at a crossroads west of Waringsford. The road crosses the Tullynisky Cut before making its way through Kinallen where it meets the C309 and the C310. The road eventually reaches Dromara after crossing the River Lagan and comes to an end on the B7 inside the village.
