The C32 runs east from Oban, passing through Glen Lonan to reach Taynuilt. It starts on the [[A816] south of Oban town centre and follows Combie Street then Glencruitten Road which winds eastwards under the railway to an unlined effective TOTSO junction at Barranrioch Farm. The C32 turns right here, and less than half a mile to the south it TOTSOs again, to resume its eastward route into Glen Lonan. This is a quiet and peaceful glen, with the road winding across moorland and through woodland, past scattered farms for half a dozen miles up the glen to the watershed. Here, it slowly turns around to the north as it drops into Taynuilt, meeting the A85 at a staggered crossroads with the B845.
