The C34 maintained by Kent Council is a rural Class III road that starts and ends on the A227.
Starting to the west of the village of Plaxtol, the road heads in an easterly direction as Plaxtol Lane, before heading south as Church Hill in the centre of the village. A junction with the C262 shortly follows, before the C34 leaves the village as School Lane. Passing through the Kentish countryside, the road reaches a junction with the C38, before continuing south as Reeds Lane and quickly having a TOTSO on to Claygate Lane. Another junction follows with Puttenden Road and the C34 passes through a forested area before terminating at a junction with the A227 and the C60.
