Route
The C376 starts where the A231 performs a TOTSO to continue as Nelson Road into Gillingham. Canterbury Street continues, however, in a north west direction as the C376 through Victorian terraced housing. Soon, Montgomery Road leaves to the left, heading towards the hospital and a useful route to avoid the traffic on the A2. The C386 continues where it meets the C375 Windmill Road (no vehicle access) / Gillingham Road and Rock Avenue. Canterbury Street continues, as the C376 past a bowls club and over the railway line. The road then slowly bends north, before terminating on the pedestrian High Street. According to Medway Council, this is where the C376 ends, although a short section of Skinner Street allows a connection to the A231 again.
