Route
The C379 starts at a traffic light junction with the A2 in an area known locally as the Jezreel's. This name comes from the Jezreel's Tower, a headquarters of a religious sect, that once stood on a site nearby. The road heads south as Ash Tree Lane, passing a secondary school, before entering countryside and steeply descending towards Hale. The road is bordered both sides by steep hills, allowing some fantastic views over the valley. The road eventually passes the Luton Recreation Ground and ends on a mini-roundabout with the C97 Capstone Road.
