This article is about the Class III road numbered C452 maintained by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
For other roads numbered C452, see C452.
For other roads numbered C452, see C452.
The C452 starts on the A37 in Whitchurch and follows Staunton Lane eastwards through the village, before curving northwards onto Stockwood Lane. This leads to the Bristol City boundary. Stockwood Lane continues, winding through the edge of the city as the C138 (Bristol), before re-crossing the boundary. Stockwood Lane then becomes Stockwood Hill as it enters Keynsham, emerging onto Old Bristol Road, a former loop of the turnpike between Bristol and Bath, long since bypassed by Durley Hill. The final section of the C452 then follows Old Bristol Road east to meet the A4175. It is not at all clear if the other, longer part of Old Bristol Road is also part of the route or not.
