C460 (Bath and NE Somerset)

The C460 starts on the A39 in Farmborough and heads east along The Street and The Mead to meet the C461, Timsbury Road. After a short multiplex north, the C460 resumes, following Priston Lane along the south bank of the Conygre Brook. Road and stream slowly diverge as they approach Priston, with the road meandering through the small village, leaving on Priston Road which heads for Nailwell, where it turns north to reach Englishcombe. The final section of the route climbs Padleigh Hill to reach the C2, Rush Hill on the edge of Bath, almost opposite the junction with the C3 Englishcombe Lane. Most of the C roads change number at the city boundary, so it could be that the C3 and C460 actually meet each other a little further south at the boundary.
