This article is about the Class III road numbered C471 maintained by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
For other roads numbered C471, see C471.
For other roads numbered C471, see C471.
The C471 follows the former route of the A367 through Peasedown St John. The bypass was opened in the mid 1990s, relieving the busy village from through traffic, and leading to the installation of a series of traffic calming measures to discourage traffic from short cutting through - the bypass is considerably longer. The route starts at the roundabout at the north end of the village, and follows Dunkerton Hill, Ashgrove and Bath Road through to meet the southern end of the bypass at Wellow Mead.
