This article is about the Class III road numbered C477 maintained by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
For other roads numbered C477, see C477
.

The C477 is a route which dances along the county boundary between Limpley Stoke and Freshford. It appears to include parts of Midford Lane and Church Lane at Limpley Stoke, along which the boundary runs. These lie either side of the A36, with the road then disappearing into Wiltshire for a time. Church lane recrosses the boundary and enters Freshford, with the C477 then winding through the village on New Road and the High Street, before crossing the River Frome on The Hill. The route then appears to end at the crossroads, where the C594 continues ahead along Iford Lane.
