Route outline (key)
C489 Saltford - Wilmington
This article is about the Class III road numbered C489 maintained by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
For other roads numbered C489, see C489
.

The C489 starts on the [{A4]] in the middle of Saltford, and heads south, winding through the village on Manor Road before forking left onto Longwood Lane. This heads south, crossing the A39 and continuing into Stanton Prior. The precise onward route is then a little confused, but it appears to swing eastwards at Poplar Farm and head for Wilmington. Here, it seems most likely that the route turns right at the crossroads and heads back towards Marksbury, as 'Marksbury Lane, Priston' is listed as part of the route, and this road follows the parish boundary.
