The C50 is a rural class III road in Hertfordshire proving a main link for the village of Tewin to Hertford and on to Burnham Green. Curiously, the road encompasses the three sides of the triangle of the village green, and has a spur towards Welwyn Garden City, which randomly becomes the C148 at an arbitary point.
