The C5280 (Brighton and Hove) is located in the East of Brighton through Kemptown. On its western end it takes over from Edward Street (C5360) which is a D2 road, before shortly reducing to a wide S2 road. For all of its length it runs parallel with the B2066 (B2118 until 2005) despite the C5280 being streighter, wider and is used by bus routes.
