The C546 is a lengthy meandering route in east County Londonderry. The road starts on the A54 to the north of Bellaghy and soon crosses the same road a little further north, on its way into Clady where it meets the A42. The road continues out of Clady crosses the Clady River. The road then TOTSOs west towards Innisrush, after which it gradually swings to the north west. As it does so the road crosses the C549 and the B75 at two separate crossroads, as well as the northern arm of the C547. Eventually the road reaches Bovedy, where it TOTSOs first right then left to end on the B64 nearby.
