This article is about the Class III road numbered C54 maintained by Scottish Borders Council.

The C54 forms a loop to the south of the B6400 between Belses and Ancrum. It starts, at the western end, by winding round a loop through a demolished railway bridge on a long abandoned railway at Belses, and then climbs steeply over a ridge to Rawflat. After climbing the next hill, the route turns westwards and meanders across the countours to reach the B6400 again just outside Ancrum.
